Hello! I’m Justine, an illustrator, surface pattern designer and graphic designer based in Ontario, Canada.

I create playful, characterful artwork inspired by nature, animals and the little details that make an image feel special. My work spans children’s illustration, surface pattern design and decorative artwork, with a focus on colour, storytelling and designs that feel warm, engaging and full of personality.

With more than 25 years of professional design experience, I bring a strong understanding of colour, composition, typography and production to my illustration work. My background includes both print and digital design, giving me extensive experience preparing artwork for a wide range of applications and working with clients, suppliers and production partners.

My creative career began in photography before moving into graphic design, and over the years my work has expanded naturally into illustration, pattern design and fine art photography. I particularly enjoy creating artwork that can live beyond the page — whether in a children’s book, on fabric and wallpaper, in a home or as part of a larger collection.

I’m available for illustration commissions, licensing and creative collaborations, and welcome inquiries from publishers, art directors, interior designers, manufacturers and other creative partners.
